Home/Brands

Three Brands. One Standard.

We could stock forty names and champion none of them. Instead we carry Helix, Brax and Match, because between them they solve almost every problem a car throws at sound.

Why Only Three

One Engineering House, Three Levels

Helix, Brax and Match are all built by Audiotec Fischer in Schmallenberg, Germany. Same design team, same measurement lab, same refusal to publish a figure they cannot stand behind. What changes between them is how far they take it, and what you pay for that.

That shared DNA matters more than it sounds. Because the three ranges are engineered to work together, a system can grow in stages rather than being ripped out and replaced. Start with Match speakers, add a Helix DSP amplifier a year later, move to Brax when you are ready. Nothing you bought earlier gets wasted.

The Biggest Gain Per Pound Spent

Match exists to answer one question: how much better can a normal car sound without cutting anything. The drivers are designed around the factory mounting points of specific vehicles, so a set goes in using the original screw holes, the original grilles and the original wiring.

That sounds like a convenience feature. It is actually an engineering one. A speaker built for a known door, with a known depth and a known baffle, will nearly always outperform a generic driver of the same price shoehorned into the same hole.

What They Make
Vehicle specific speaker kits that drop into the factory locations with no fabrication
Compact amplifiers small enough to hide under a seat or behind a panel
Underseat subwoofers for real bass without losing the boot
Upgrade bundles matched per vehicle, so the parts are known to work together
Who it suits Anyone whose factory system sounds flat and who wants a clear, obvious improvement without a rebuild. This is where most people should start, and plenty never need to go further.

Takes Back Control Of A Locked Factory System

Modern cars are the hard case. The audio is tied into the vehicle network, the factory processing is already applying its own correction, and you cannot simply unplug the head unit without losing half the car's functions. This is the exact problem Helix was built for.

A Helix DSP amplifier sits between the factory system and your speakers. It undoes the equalisation the manufacturer applied, then lets you set crossovers, levels and time alignment properly, so the sound arrives at the driver's seat as one image instead of two. The dashboard stays exactly as it was.

What They Make
DSP amplifiers combining amplification and processing in one hideable unit
Standalone processors for adding control to an existing amplifier
Component and coaxial speakers designed to be driven by their own amps
Remote controls so bass and presets are adjustable from the driver's seat
Who it suits Drivers keeping the factory screen who want the system to sound like it should have from the showroom. Also the natural second step once Match speakers are in and you want them properly driven.

Where The Compromises Finally Stop

Brax is what Audiotec Fischer builds when cost is no longer the constraint. Units are hand assembled, individually measured, and shipped with the measurement to prove it. Components are selected rather than sourced. The casework exists to control resonance and heat, not to look impressive on a shelf, although it does that too.

The honest version: for most cars, Brax is more than the environment can give back. In a properly built system with damping, a considered driver layout and real tuning time, it is the point where you stop noticing the equipment and just hear the recording.

What They Make
Reference amplifiers hand built and individually measured before shipping
High end signal processors with far more channels and resolution than most builds need
Graphic series drivers, tweeters and midranges built for accuracy above output
Tuning and measurement tools for installers who do this properly
Who it suits Finished builds where the install work has already been done and the equipment is now the limit. Competition cars, and people who have heard the difference and cannot unhear it.

Which One Is Right For You

There is no best brand here, only the right one for your car, your ears and your budget. This is roughly how we steer people.

Build It In Stages

You Do Not Have To Do It All At Once

Because all three ranges come from the same house, each stage keeps working when you add the next. This is the route we recommend most often.

01Match
Speakers And Damping

Vehicle specific front speakers plus damping on the door skins. This alone fixes most of what people dislike about a factory system, and it costs the least.

Biggest change per pound
02Helix
DSP Amplification

Now drive those speakers properly and take back control of the processing. Time alignment and crossovers pull the sound stage up onto the dashboard where it belongs.

Where it starts sounding serious
03Brax
Reference Upgrade

Once the install is right and the tuning is dialled in, upgrading the amplification or the drivers is the only thing left. This is the stage that is genuinely optional.
